ExpressCal is an expert repair and calibration service for all brands of electrical test equipment. A sister company to Kewtech Corporation, ExpressCal has significant insight into the technical functions of test equipment. Our engineers have been involved in the design of test equipment so they really understand and appreciate the technology and are in an expert position to provide both repair and calibration services.

Professional Service

It is vitally important that your test equipment is regularly calibrated in order to ensure its accuracy and reliability. Over time, the accuracy of your tester can drop and that is why we recommend getting your testers calibrated annually.

There is a detailed and precise procedure to the calibration process which requires time and care to be spent with your tester to ensure reliable readings. This must only be undertaken by an accredited laboratory with all calibrations traceable back to the National Standards and procedures detailed in BS EN/IEC17025:2017 and carried out by suppliers who are ISO 9001:2015 certified.

Failure to ensure your equipment is calibrated with a recognised and certified calibration laboratory could result in compliance and safety issues, litigation issues, increased downtime and the degrading of your equipment’s performance.

FAST TURNAROUND

How to book your calibration

We realise that your equipment is a valuable tool. That is why we look to offer a 72 hour turnaround where possible on calibrations. However, if you are able to drop your meter into us at Doncaster (DN2 5TB), we can offer a same day calibration.

Simply book in your instrument using the form below for a collection date that suits you. Then box your tester up securely with your contact details inside and place this Express-Cal-Address-Label on the outside of your box ready for collection.

Please call or log your instrument with us before 11:30am (Monday to Friday) in order to arrange same day collection.

DO YOU OWN A KT63?

Why not upgrade to the KT63DL?

Already the proud owner of a KT63 but don’t want to miss out on the great additional features we have added?

Well you don’t have to. We can now upgrade your KT63 to the KT63DL which includes a new printed circuit board, software upgrade, new facia and calibration.

If you would like to talk to us about upgrading your KT63 to include the new A type and 10mA testing facility then please contact ExpressCal on 0345 646 1404 (selecting option 2) or complete the calibration form below to book your KT63 in for an upgrade.

Please note that all instruments must be logged before 11:30am (Monday - Friday) to arrange for same day collection. No weekend collections. Please note that our last collection date for the Christmas period was 18th December. We will recommence collection on the 2nd January 2025.
Carriage(Required)
Standard carriage is only insured up to the value of £60. Please select extended liability for cover up to the value of £1,000. If you select DPD Drop to Shop, you are responsible for delivering your meter to a designated DPD drop off point.

Returning your testers(Required)
Equipment returned through a distributor will require an official order number before being returned. If you do not have an account, a proforma invoice will be raised and once payment received the equipment will be dispatched. (Please note there is a £29 investigation charge that applies if you choose to reject a quote for repair).
